December happenings

There is some great stuff going on this month! First off, the studio show and sale begins this weekend Dec 2nd from 12:30pm till 5. There's a reception for the artists from 12:30-2:30pm. The show will be featuring: Rajaa Gharbi......paintings, prints, jewelry Trisha Keiman.....paintings, prints Marc Yeager.......fine woodworking, sculpture Tom Wells.........paintings, prints Don't miss the Art Walk on December 13th from 6-9 this month either, the gallery will be open then as well as by appointment throughout the month of December. Other cultural stuff that ginomai will be sharing in this month includes: Sunday Dec 2nd @ 7pm ..........the African Childrens Choir Sunday Dec 9th @ 6:30pm ..... Taproot theatres improv comedy team presenting "An Improv Christmas Carol" in a dessert theatre. Both of these events will take place in the main worship center @ West Seattle Christian Church, directly across the street from ginomai.

November happenings

A big thank you to all who participated in the Art Walk last night. It is making a difference and your willingness to be here and be open is continuing to make this a great stop on the walk. It also makes this a fun place to hang out for the evening.
Just a reminder that our holiday show begins in the community room in a few weeks. There is a reception on Sunday afternoon, December 2nd @ 12:30 that everyone is invited to.
Work continues to progress as volunteer time allows. The new projects coming soon are:
new lighting in the first floor hallway
painting in the entryway
some additional lighting in the community room
lower restroom renovation
a darkroom on the 2nd floor
landscaping work around the building/parking lot
